Our Suppliers
Exceptional gelato and sorbets starts with exceptional ingredients! Not only do our suppliers allow us to make the best gelato and sorbet they are a reflection of what our company represents.

Berkely Dairy Farm
Organic traditional dairy
When we started The Icicle Bicycle we knew we had to find the best milk and cream for our gelato. How do you find the best dairy, well by finding the best cows!

For this we turned to Berkely Dairy Farm, In Wiltshire, and their herd of 120 Guernsey cows, which are renown for their rich creamy milk.

Not only do they have the ideal cows for the job, they truly care for their herd. Using traditional and organic farming techniques. No pesticides or herbicides and are heavily restricted on their use of cattle hormones and antibiotics.

Langridge Organic
UK based growers
For the fruits in our sorbets and fruit gelatos we use Langridge Organics. They have a network of UK based organic growers. This is ideal for us as we cycle through flavours based on seasons.

At The Icicle Bicycle we want the best flavour in our sorbets and fruit gelatos. In order to do this the fruit must be at its best. By only using them while in their season not only do we achieve the best flavour but we also reduce our impact on the environment by reducing the time they travel to get to our kitchen

Chocolate Island
Single Source cocoa

When it comes to our chocolate gelatos and sorbets we use Chocolate Islands single source chocolate not only for its superb and distinct flavour, but its environmental and Human ethos.

They began their company in 2018 in ST Vincant, with the goal of showing what outstanding quality the cocoa on St Vincant is and to make a real difference to the locals.

The Caribbean has a dark history of exploitation both human and natural. Even in the modern day large companies lack traceability in their production lines that leaves room for this to continue.

Island Chocolate is different, their farming techniques focus on regenerative farming with no deforestation and have fair living wages with zero modern slavery.
Being a company that takes its product from farm to kitchen, the cocoa and the practices involved in the running of the business are easy to trace. Its easy to see how seriously they take they're responsibilities and the passion they have for chocolate.
